A large tree fell on top of an SUV in Belleville on Monday evening, according to police.
It happened around 6 p.m. on Union Avenue and Greylock Parkway. A woman was inside the Jeep Grand Cherokee at the time.
Belleville Fire Department removed the tree. The woman was taken to the hospital and was alert and conscious, police say.
Crews say weather was a contributing factor in this incident.
