A group of volunteers helped clean an overgrown Civil War veteran cemetery in Englishtown.
The Shreck family found the cemetery off Water Street that had veterans from the 1800s.
The town couldn’t trace the ownership of the cemetery to have it maintained, so the family and other volunteers stepped in.
"I recently found out there's two confirmed veterans here, and it motivated me even more to want to clean this up,” says volunteer Ron Errickson.
The team cut down branches and weeds and cleaned the area up to make sure the gravestones are noticeable again. Flags and flowers were placed at the cemetery to honor the veterans.
