When one thinks about the United States Navy, they probably don’t think about music. But the Navy has several bands that tour the country. Those bands were in New Jersey this week.
The tour meant a homecoming for Cherry Hill’s Ben Turner. The guitarist is part of the Navy’s Commodores band. They performed at the State Theater in New Brunswick and at Sparta and Phillipsburg high schools. They were also at Rowan University on Wednesday.
It was all part of a 23-day tour around the northeast.
