Saturday will be homecoming at Rowan University, and it is a special one. The university will mark its centennial.

Seven hundred past and current students gathered on the university green to form the number 100. It is a photo they will put in the university archives.

Rowan was founded in the fall of 1923 as the Glassboro Normal School. There were 236 students on the first day. Enrollment today now tops at 19,000.
