Oscar nominations came out on Tuesday, which means a Ridgewood native will likely be nominated as well.
Thelma Schoonmaker has been director Martin Scorsese’s editor for the last 40 years. She's done all his big films including “Raging Bull,” “The Departed” and now “Killers of the Flower Moon.”
Schoonmaker was nominated for a 10th time for film editing. She has won three Oscars already.
Schoonmaker graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1957. She is still at the top of her profession at the age of 84.
