The city of Passaic is making New Jersey proud. Mayor Hector Lora and Passaic City Council members hosted their back-to-school bookbag giveaway on Sunday.

Children not only received a free bookbag, but they could also get a free eye screening and prescription glasses if needed.

Everyone aged 5 to 18 was welcomed.
