The weather is warming up so that means more people will be outside. If you are driving, be sure to watch out for people on their bikes or out for a walk. But it's a two-way street. Kids have to know to be careful of cars as well.

Police spoke with second graders about pedestrian and bike safety at a gathering in North Bergen.

They said they know they're anxious to get outside and play, but it's important to be aware of your surroundings to stay safe.
