4ds agoThe New Jersey Winter Special Olympics are now underway. Athletes from all over New Jersey competed in floor hockey and volleyball at Stockton University. This is part of a year-round program to provide kids with intellectual disabilities with an athletic outlet. It's a celebration of inclusion and the spirit of competition.
The games this weekend were a great kickoff to Special Olympics New Jersey’s 55th year. Their winter games continue next month at Mountain Creek with skiing and snowboarding.
