Hurricane Helene delivered an unexpected blow to Georgia and New Jersey residents were there to lend a helping hand.

The New Jersey All-Hazards Incident Management Team safely returned home late Sunday night following their 16-day deployment to Macon, Georgia.

The group delivered crucial ground support - providing logistical assistance, aiding communication and coordination and overseeing the statewide distribution of essential needs items.
