A Jackson Township man is taking the first responders who saved his life on the one-year anniversary of a health scare.
Robert Kalmowitz went into cardiac arrest in May 2023. He needed help immediately and got it from Jackson Township's first responders.
Kalmowitz wrote on Facebook that only 10% of people who have an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survive and only 3% of those who do return to normal daily life. Kalmowitz writes that he is a part of that 3% all thanks to Jackson Township police, EMS and Robert Wood Johnson-Barnabas paramedics.
