High school senior Angelina Perez won the Northeast regional title last weekend, with the seventh fastest time in the race's history -- three miles in 17 minutes and 21 seconds.

High school senior Angelina Perez won the Northeast regional title last weekend, with the seventh fastest time in the race's history -- three miles in 17 minutes and 21 seconds.  
Next weekend, she will be in California running for a national championship as the favorite to win. 
She is ranked No. 1 in the country.
