A Montclair organization is helping to close the digital divide one laptop at a time.
Laptop Upcycle is an organization in Montclair that accepts used computers, rehabs them and donates them to public school children who do not have computers.
The group has donated well over 800 laptops, mainly in Montclair, over the last three years.
The people who volunteer to rehab these computers are often middle and high school kids.
