The job one gets in high school rarely translates into a job for life.

Pennsauken's Anne Ford started working at the Cherry Hill Mall in 1974 and she is still there. Her friends and family marked her 50th anniversary.

Ford started working at the mall part-time in high school and enjoyed it. She eventually became the mall’s office manager.

She says that the key to surviving 50 years with one employer is to be ready to adapt.
