There was an odd sighting on Long Beach Island recently – firefighters in full gear playing minigolf.
The crew in Beach Haven suited up and went to Mr. Tee’s Mini Golf. They do this as a training exercise. Not to be better putt-putt players, but to play in their oxygen masks.
It gives them a better idea of how much oxygen they consume. You do exert yourself while playing minigolf, especially when playing full gear.
