7ds agoIt was 90 years ago this week that two major events happened in New Jersey.
The first was the death of Thomas Edison. He died in West Orange at the age of 84.
Six days later the George Washington Bridge opened for the first time. It took four years to finish the bridge.
Both events happened in 1931.
