Jersey Proud: 17 sailors of USS Princeton visit namesake town

The sailors visited the Princeton Battlefield Memorial to lay a wreath. They then visited Princeton University and Princeton High School to speak to students.

More than a dozen Navy sailors were spotted in Princeton on Tuesday.
The 17 sailors all serve on the cruiser USS Princeton. Coming to Princeton was no coincidence. It's a Navy program to help create a connection between residents and those who serve on their namesake vessel.
The sailors visited the Princeton Battlefield Memorial to lay a wreath. They then visited Princeton University and Princeton High School to speak to students.
