A 100-year-old Navy veteran was just recognized for his service.

Dr. Calvin Moon had a long career in veterinary medicine. But he was just recognized for his service during his time in the Navy on a submarine during World War II.

Moon was given the Distinguished Service Medal for his service during the war.

Moon is also known for giving an oral history of his time to Rutgers University.
