Jersey Buzz: 'Star Wars' actress honored in Hollywood; ‘A Galaxy Far, Far Away’ coming to NJ

Carrie Fisher is now joining her “Star Wars” costars Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Fisher, who died in 2016, is best known for her portrayal of Princess Leia. Her daughter Billie Lourd accepted the star on Thursday.
“My mom is a double whammy, a Pez dispenser and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame now. Mama, you've made it,” Lourd said.
And coming to the Garden State from “A Galaxy Far, Far Away…” the New Jersey Symphony will bring the Oscar-nominated film score to fans across the state.
Fans can catch music by legendary film composer John Williams at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown on Thursday, May 18; at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank on Friday, May 19; at New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on Saturday, May 20; and at State Theatre in New Brunswick on Sunday, May 21.
