Police in Gloucester County have released 911 audio from a call made by Eagles defensive lineman Fletcher Cox while a man was trying to break into his home.
The attempted break-in happened earlier this month at Cox’s Mullica Hill home.
Cox tells police dispatchers that someone is trying to break into the home and that he is brandishing a shotgun for defense. The sound of someone banging on the door can be heard in the background of the call.
Cox is also heard saying said the man was "busting every window" of his house and urged the police to "hurry up."
“I’m standing at my door. If he comes into my house, I’m telling you right now, my gun is off safety and I’m going to blow his brains out,” Cox tells the dispatcher.
The suspect was identified as Corbyn Nyemah.
According to court documents, Nyemah showed up at Cox’s house looking for his ex-girlfriend, whom Cox is now dating.
