The Hudson River has been cleared to swim in for athletes competing in tomorrow's Ironman triathlon in New Jersey.
A sewage spill in Westchester County threatened to make the Hudson off-limits for the nearly two-and-a-half-mile swimming leg of the 140-mile race.
Advisories against direct contact with water in the lower Hudson River expire at 11 p.m. tonight.
