Hudson County will soon open its first drive-through coronavirus testing site for county residents.
The site will open Tuesday at Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus. Limited testing has been done there for the past week. The number of confirmed cases of the virus have risen sharply to 190 as of Monday.
The testing will be for Hudson County residents and first responders. ID will be required.
“If you have a cough or shortness of breath accompanied by a fewer, here’s a number you should call: 201-388-1079,” DeGise says.
Hospital CEO Dr. Nizar Kifaieh says that patients will be taken into the hospital to an isolated area to decrease the risk of exposure.

About 200 tests will be performed a day from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. But officials stress that those who do not have symptoms should not show up.
