Crash involving school van shuts down roads in Hillsborough

A serious crash involving a school van and other vehicles prompted first responders to shut down some local roads in Hillsborough Township Thursday morning.
The crash occurred just before 8 a.m. in the area of Amwell Road and Cpl. Langon Way. The scene is located about a block away from Hillsborough High School.
Multiple police, fire and EMS units from Hillsborough as well as Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital responded to the scene. A medical helicopter also landed at the nearby school. Officials have not yet confirmed if anyone was injured or exactly how many vehicles were involved.
Two vehicles could be seen at the intersection, including an SUV and a school van - both with airbags deployed. A tire from a vehicle was near the curb, along with other debris from the wreck.
