The news comes as Gov. Murphy announced Monday a
six-point road map to begin reopening New Jersey’s economy amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The steps are sustained reductions in new cases and hospitalizations for 14 days, doubling the state's current testing capacity and prioritizing testing for essential workers, implementing robust contact tracing, and providing people who test positive with safe places to isolate and protect others. The state can then move to responsibly restart the economy. Finally, ensuring the state's resiliency in the event of another outbreak, meaning fortifying the health care system and ensuring hospitals are prepared.

The governor didn't have a specific date for reopening, but did talk about weeks -- not months away.
"I don't know when we'll be able to formally and finally start this journey, hopefully if we all keep at it, it will be soon," says Gov. Murphy. “This is a plan for how we move forward, not if we move forward. So, let's do it together."
The state’s social distancing directives and stay-at-home executive orders will remain in place until things reopen.
