With Gov. Chris Christie ready for tonight's keynote speech at the Republican National Convention, many in New Jersey are wondering if the spotlight can improve the state's image around the country.
The latest Rutgers-Eagleton poll found 46 percent of 916 voters surveyed think Christie's speech will make no difference in how the state is perceived. Nearly a third, 32 percent, think it will enhance the state's image, while 14 percent think it will hurt.
The governor has said he would talk up New Jersey while spending time in Florida this week.
