Witnesses say the girl charged in front of the approaching train.
A spokesman says the incident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. at the Ninth Street Station in Hoboken.
The girl is at Jersey City Medical Center, where doctors describe her as ?responsive.?
NJ Transit is investigating the incident.
