Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz visited Brick Township High School as part of USA Football's "Football Town" campaign.
Cruz, a New Jersey native, also presented the school with a $5,000 equipment grant.
"Being from Paterson, you understand exactly what it takes to make it and to stay focused and to have longevity in your career," Cruz says. "Those are some of the things I wanted to give back."
Brick Township was selected for the recognition from more than 50 local high schools and communities.
