James Collins, a 68-year-old former camp counselor from Bedford Hills, has pleaded guilty to two federal charges of enticement and coercion.
According to court documents, Collins persuaded a 15-year-old boy to meet him in Westchester County for sex in July 2023. He also had a 17-year-old minor in Illinois engage in explicit activities and send him videos and photos.
Collins will be sentenced in June and faces a 10-year mandatory minimum sentence.
Last year, Collins settled lawsuits with 16 men who said they were sexually abused by him when he worked in the Village of Mount Kisco, the Boys and Girls Club of Northern Westchester, and the Chappaqua school district.
