Nadine Menendez goes on trial on Tuesday, just over six weeks after her husband, former Sen. Bob Menendez, was sentenced to 11 years for corruption and bribery.

Her case was delayed multiple times due to breast cancer treatments.

Bob Menendez voiced frustration on X, writing, "My wife, who had breast cancer reconstructive surgery just days ago, is being forced by the government to go to trial tomorrow…Only the arrogance of the SDNY can be so cruel and inhumane. They should let her fully recover!"
