Scattered rain showers crossed over New Jersey Thursday as temperatures continued to spike.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the humidity is high in the state and that the rain wasn't doing all that much to cool things down.
Curren also says that the rain could cause some localized flooding in some areas.
Thursday's overnight hours are expected to see some clouds with temperatures expected to dip into the mid-70s.
Friday should see some sun and clouds. Some thunderstorms are possible during the day. High temperatures are expected to reach the mid-90s.
Saturday may start off with some rain showers, but the skies should clear by the afternoon. Temperatures should also reach 90 degrees.
