Female business owners and artists teamed up to turn Maplewood into an art gallery in honor of Women's History Month.
The Windows for Women program showcases the works of women artists in the windows of female-led businesses. Residents are invited to look at the work and support the local shops.
"This program allows us to highlight the women business owners in our community, while also showcasing these artists who often don't get the same recognition,” says Cat Delett, of the Maplewood Village Alliance. “It's really nice to be able to feature them. Last year I was an artist, so I can say the women are really appreciative of the exposure and the chance to show their art and sell their art."
