A family in Lodi says that they were awoken by people breaking into their home early Monday morning and then held at gunpoint.
Lodi police say that the crime happened on Westminster Place just after midnight. They say that the family was woken up by a loud noise that came from a back window. Two men with guns had broken into the home.
Police say that one of the homeowners was pushed into a bathroom and knocked down while the other suspect rummaged through the home. Police believe two other suspects waited outside as lookouts.
Lodi Police Lt. Robert Salerno says that it is believed that the four suspects left the area on foot, and police do not believe that anything was stolen.
There were cameras on the outside of the building, so police hope the footage provides some leads.
No serious injuries were reported.
Anyone who might have information about the crime is asked to contact Lodi police.
