Paterson got into the holiday spirit with two Easter egg hunt events for residents in different parts of the city.
The first was held in Eastside Park and the second at School 25.
Mayor Andre Sayegh says the events were great opportunities to unite families for the holiday weekend.
“We couldn't have asked for better weather. We have citizens who are struggling, and this is an opportunity for them to take advantage of a free event…Every kid’s going home happy,” said Mayor Andre Sayegh.
Thanks to local organizers, some eggs in the hunt contained a golden ticket that could be exchanged for a new bike.
