Students in Middlesex County have beaten a new record for the Guinness Book of World Records.
Students from Wood Brook School in Edison created the longest line of recycled batteries in the world.
More than 100 students worked to put over 31,000 batteries in a row. The previous record was less than 1,400 batteries.
The school says that the event was not even about beating the world record. They wanted to spread awareness about responsible battery recycling.
