FORECAST:
Overwhelming heat and humidity continues again today with feel-like temperatures near 100-105. A spot thundershower is expected today, but not for everyone. Only a few spots inland, likely in western New Jersey, will experience this. Lightning is still a hazard along with the downpour of rain.
Tomorrow's weather remains unsettled with lots of clouds then eventually storms for the afternoon 1-6 p.m. These storms come with a punch of strong to severe winds that could be damaging. There is also a notable indicator for flash flooding, which can create big problems. Storms weaken when the sun sets Thursday, with a few showers lasting into Friday morning.
Friday morning starts damp, but then there will be improvement by the afternoon with comfortable and cooler temperatures reminiscent of fall. The weekend is gorgeous with highs in the lower-80s with sunshine.
