The dog, Blaze, shot by a Keyport police officer in October is back home with his family.
Cops shot the dog in the shoulder while responding to a call of an aggressive dog.
The judges agreed to release the dog with some conditions, and the owners still face charges for having a dangerous dog.
The family says Blaze needs medical care and may lose his leg.
