With fewer family members expected to gather for
Thanksgiving this year due to the pandemic, there is a sharper demand for
smaller turkeys.
News 12’s Hilary Lane was at
Goffe Road Poultry Farm in
Wyckoff on Saturday, which sold out of smaller turkeys on Thursday.
The same is true at other locations across the state, where
the only birds that remain are between 17-19 pounds.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends
not traveling this holiday to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
