A Morris County judge is expected to give couples their long-awaited lost wedding photographs taken by Celebration Studios.
Celebration Studios suddenly closed months ago, leaving hundreds of couples without their wedding day memories. Attorney General Anne Milgram confiscated boxes of videos and photographs from the company in January. Milgram launched an investigation into whether the company had violated the Consumer Fraud Act.
Returning the photos got bogged down as the case was tied up in bankruptcy court. The judge?s announcement is expected Friday.
Unhappy customers of Celebration Studios are ecstatic their lost memories may be found, but still wary.
?Oh, finally! I only just hope and pray that our stuff is in there,? says Heather Fiory. ?I'm excited but I don't want to get too excited because I don't know what's in there and what's not.?
