The company that provides red-light cameras for many New Jersey communities is posting footage of some crashes on the video site. American Traffic Solutions (ATS) says the collisions and some near-misses are put online as a way to remind people of the consequences of running red lights.
The spokesman for the Arizona-based camera company says it's not just New Jersey crashes it has put on YouTube. They also have clips from around the country, including Florida, Missouri and Tennessee, as a reminder to stop on red.
