Fisher-Price and parent company Mattel are facing class action lawsuits over recalled Rock 'N' Play sleepers – and infant deaths tied to the product.
Less than two weeks ago, 4.7 million of the sleepers were recalled, but a week earlier, Fisher-Price, as well as the CPSC, put out a warning after 10 babies died.
Days later, a consumer reports probe tied the sleepers to upward of 30 infant deaths since 2009.
The infants died after suffocating after rolling from their backs to their stomachs.
Two class-action lawsuits were filed.
Families are seeking unspecified damages.
