4h agoAuthorities say a body was recovered this morning in the Barnegat Bay. Sources believe it to be the woman who went missing Monday near Island Heights in Toms River.
Several police departments confirmed the body was discovered near Good Luck Point Marina in the Bayville section of Berkeley Township.
On Monday, police reported Karen McKenna was last seen around 4 a.m. near Nelson's Marine Landing in Island Heights.
Multiple agencies and search equipment, including water vessels and state police helicopters all participated in the search.
