A Chihuahua named Coco is lucky to be alive after being
found by a man along the train tracks in Vineland.
According to the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter, the
man was walking his dog behind Gerresheimer’s Glass near the train tracks when
he saw a bag move on the ground.
He picked up the bag and brought it to the animal shelter.
Inside the urine-soaked bag was a young female Chihuahua. The shelter posted a
video of the dog exiting the bag, looking visibly shaken.
The shelter called it a “blatant act of animal cruelty” and
is urging anyone with information about the dog to call the Vineland Police
Department at 856-691-4111.
