Bergenfield may be one of the few places not rooting for a change in the frigid weather.
On Sunday, residents enjoyed an old-fashioned outdoor skating rink at Coopers Pond, courtesy of Mother Nature.
Those who didn't skate kept warm at a Public Works bonfire.
Monday's warm-up will prompt a review of the ice conditions, but since there was such a large amount of snowfall, there may more chances for skating and hockey games.
