Bergen County volunteers recently gathered at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in Wyckoff to pack meals for people in Haiti.
Organizers say over 300 volunteers attended the event and packed 60,000 meals.
The gathering was held to benefit Haiti Health Promise, a foundation that provides medical, technical and financial support to a hospital in Haiti. It is affiliated with Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck.
