A 45-year-old Bedminster man was arrested and charged in the sexual assaults of two girls.

Somerset County prosecutors say Marcelo Schonhauser sexually assaulted a 7-year-old and an 8-year-old on Saturday, March 4, during separate incidents at the same social event at a home in Bedminster.

Police say both girls came forward and talked to authorities. Two days later, Schonhauser was arrested at his home, according to authorities. He's also charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
