Average price of gas in New Jersey up to $4.09 a gallon
Gas prices are continuing to rise across the country and the Garden State.
New Jersey's state average for a gallon of gas was up to $4.09 Sunday, an 11-cent increase from Saturday.
Some drivers say they have stopped buying lattes or extra treats to make up for the cost of gas.
Senior Manager of Public Affairs for AAA Northeast Robert Sinclair says it's not the best thing drivers can do to conserve gas is to avoid spoiling and to make sure their tires are property inflated.
He says prices could keep getting higher as long as tensions between Ukraine and Russia continue.
