Assembly Republicans will now take part in planned independent hearings on Gov. Phil Murphy administration's response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Senate Republican Leader Tom Kean and Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick made the announcement Thursday.
The hearings will be virtual and start March 5.
The focus will be on the number of people who died at New Jersey's nursing homes, veterans homes, and long-term care facilities.
Additional hearings will focus on executive orders and underfunded relief programs that hurt small businesses, along with the failures of the state's unemployment system and Motor Vehicle Commission.
