The fifth annual Army of Hope Picnic, organized by the New Jersey State Elks Association, gathered Sunday to focus on remembering America?s fallen heroes and honoring their families.

The event brought members from lodges state-wide to Forked River. Names of New Jersey's fallen heroes were announced to not only remember those who died for their country, but to also honor their families.

Special guests were wounded soldiers and New Jersey families of those lost.
