The American Red Cross is making it easier for people to donate blood.
The organization has launched a new app that allows users to locate blood drives, schedule appointments and even track their blood's journey from donation to delivery.
"You can download it from Google Play, you can get it from the App Store or you can text 'BLOODAPP' to 90999 and it comes right down to your phone," American Red Cross representative Colin Downey said.
The American Red Cross is urging donors with A negative, B negative and O negative blood to come out and donate.
