A price hike is in the works for the Nickelodeon Universe theme park at the American Dream mega mall in East Rutherford.
Nickelodeon Universe, billed as the largest indoor amusement park in the country, opened Friday, but not all the rides were operating yet.
According to the mall, the price offered to get into the park at this time is just a special preview rate, and the price will go up.
The price right now for an all access pass to the park is $49.99.
The price for a general access pass, which is for guests under four feet tall, is $39.99.

But come Nov. 15, the same all access pass will cost $79.99, a $30 increase.
The price for a general access pass also will jump, to $59.99, a $20 increase.
By comparison, you can buy a season pass to Six Flags Great Adventure for next season online for $72 right now, which includes parking for the season. That can cost you around $25 for the day without a season pass.
Parking rates at American Dream start at $3 for the first three hours, and go up to $24 for eight hours.
