The Associated Humane Societies of Newark is continuing to ask for the public's help in finding homes for more than 30 dogs after the shelter's roof collapsed Sunday.

Staff posted on social media that only two dogs have been adopted since the roof collapsed during the snowstorm.

Staff say the shelter has dozens of dogs that need a temporary home and have taken in six more strays this week.

They say it will take weeks to repair the roof.

Anyone who is able to help and foster a dog is asked to contact Sherri Laraway or click here to apply.
